Five-Year Report of WOCAN 2005-2010

WOCAN was established to address gaps in policy, practice and capacity building through active, constructive collaboration with governments, NGOs, universities, international organizations and other groups of civil society. A community of women professionals who understand the obstacles faced by both rural and other women can form a support network of large enough size and strength to challenge existing ways of doing things at all levels, and to finally assure rural women´s equal access to resources managed for sustainable development.
