Dear WARM Members,

We are pleased to invite you to attend the next WARM meeting to be held on Wednesday October 8, 2008 , from 5:00 - 7:00 in Room MC2-800. The meeting will be hosted by the World Bank at 1818 H Street, NW, Washington, D.C., on the occasion of the launch of the Gender in Agricultural Livelihoods Sourcebook (GALS), organized as a side event of the Bank's Annual Meetings. This side event will include a discussion on how FAO, IFAD and the World Bank will apply the principles set forth in the Sourcebook to agricultural operations of their institutions.

All WARM members are invited to attend this launch, from 12:30 to 1:30 in Room MC4-800 of the Bank on Wednesday, October 8. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Sarian Akibo-Betts at sakibobetts@worldbank.org before October 1st with your name and that of your organization. Please mention as well that you were invited through the WARM network.

Please reply to this e-mail to RSVP to Debdatta Sengupta (d.sengupta@cgiar.org) by September 30 for the WARM meeting, so that we can prepare the list of people to receive a building pass and know how many people to expect.

We will send the minutes of the last WARM meeting held on July 24 along with an agenda soon.
We hope to see you on the 8th of October, for these historic events at the Bank.

Warmest regards,

Jeannette
