The purpose of the workshop was to assist participants to identify gender issues within their respective organization, build the capacity of participants and to develop strategies to address gender issues within their respective organizations.
The project is being implemented by WOCAN, and it has three components: the first is the current workshop, which will be followed by a ‘follow-up' workshop to be organized later in the year to review developments, and the third component will consist of visits by trainers to participants' respective organizations to offer technical backstopping.
