WOCAN at the CFS side event on "Climate-smart agriculture and gender – evidence for equitable, food secure and sustainable agriculture"

Vera P. Weill-Halle, WOCAN Board Chairperson, is one of the panelist for the CFS side event on “Climate-smart agriculture and gender – evidence for equitable, food secure and sustainable agriculture” on 12 October from 12:30 to 14:00 in the Iraq Room, Building A, 2nd floor at FAO Headquarters in Rome. Vera will be sharing some regional experiences on CSA and gender. During the side event, the latest Module of the Gender in Agriculture Sourcebook entitled “Gender in Climate-Smart Agriculture” will be launched. The module provides tested good practices and innovative approaches and technologies for gender mainstreaming in climate-smart agriculture (CSA). It is a joint product of the World Bank Group, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
