On 30 May, Jeannette presented the Women’s Carbon Standard (WCS) on the ‘Beyond Carbon: Emerging Market Tools for Social Responsibility’ panel organized by Ecosystem Marketplace during the CARBON EXPO 2013 in Barcelona, Spain. CARBON EXPO is the global platform to explore the detailed development of carbon markets worldwide and interrelated policies and measures that will shape the international climate regime of the future.
The objective of the panel was to present and discuss new initiatives exploring ways to link benefits of water quality, agricultural resilience, women’s empowerment and biodiversity protection to existing carbon programs. Other panelists were
