WOCAN conducted its 2nd WLC meeting on 1 June, 2012 in Kathmandu Nepal. 29 women representing high level government official, grassroots women leaders and their networks and I/NGOs participated in this meeting. The main focus of the meeting was discussion on the gender gaps in Nepal’s REDD+ policy development processes. The meeting provided good opportunity for both the grassroots and policy makers to discuss and listen to each other. The next WLC meeting is scheduled for July 2012.
