On 3 April, Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) hosted the 2nd Women in Agriculture and NRM Meeting (WARM) in Bangkok. WARM is an informal gathering initiated by WOCAN to share, learn and build a network of individuals who are interested in issues related to Women in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management (WARM) (with men warmly welcomed).
The 16 (13 women & 2 men) participants represented PACT, USAID Program LEAD, RECOFTC, WOCAN and SEI. Dr. Bernadette Resurreccion, Senior Research Fellow, welcomed the participants and introduced SEI and its gender related programs and welcomed all to partner with SEI for future projects. All participants shared their programs/projects and commitment to attend future WARM meetings. The meeting provided a good opportunity to network, share and learn. The next WARM will be hosted by South Pole Carbon in March.
