On 14March, The Forest Dialogue announced Cecile Ndjebet, President of REFACOF andWOCAN Member, as the new Steering Committee Member of The Forest Dialogue.The Forests Dialogue (TFD) was created in 1998 to provide international leaders in the forest sector with an ongoing, multi-stakeholder dialogue (MSD) platform and process focused on developing mutual trust, a shared understanding, and collaborative solutions to challenges in achieving sustainable forest management and forest conservation around the world.Rod Taylor Director of WWF International’s Forests Programme and a current co-leader of the TFD Steering Committee states, ‘The new members of the Steering Committee bring enormous talent and experience to TFD as well as representing a diversity of stakeholders. I look forward to learning from them.’
