Dibya Gurung, WOCAN Nepal Coordinator, will be on a panel for ‘The Gender Agenda: Gaining Momentum Strengthening Past Achievements, Building Gender Transformative Futures’ organized by ICIMOD during the International Women’s Day on 8 March, Kathmandu, Nepal. Also speaking are: Chime Wangdi, Secretary General at Tarayana Foundation, Bhutan;Dr. Lynn Bennett, Visiting Senior Social Scientist, ICIMOD and Dr. Ritu Verma, Division Head of Gender and Governance, ICIMOD. WOCAN is supporting the attendance of two grassroots women leaders from its partner organizations, HIMAWANTI and ASTHA, to speak at the workshop.
